Checks on the buses

are carried out by inspectors, specialized Tep staff that in addition to this task work as traffic wardens, checking for abusive parking at bus stops and on bus lanes. In the performance of their duties inspectors are public officials to whom, upon request, passengers must by law provide their personal details. Providing false personal details during a bus check is a criminal offence.

Bodycams and photos by the inspectors on the bus

Our inspectors can take photos and records through “Bodycam” devices they wear. All the devices are reported according to the law (art. 13 D.lgs. 196/2003, art. 13- 14 – GDPR2016/679). Photos of people travelling without a proper pass/ticket can be taken when the passengers refuse to communicate to the inspector their personal details or when the passengers communicate their personal details without providing any personal document.
