Description
TEP connects Parma Airport with the city on urban bus route 6 and, from April 1st 2026, with additional evening and night services timed to coincide with selected flights.
The journey between Parma railway station and the airport takes around 15 minutes. To travel between the airport, the station and the city centre, you can use a standard urban ticket, costing €2.00. The ticket is valid for 80 minutes and can be used for more than one journey, including on different bus routes, as long as all journeys are completed within the validity period.
Daytime service: route 6
During the day, Parma Airport is served by urban bus route 6.
Service frequency
- every 30 minutes
- every 60 minutes on public holiday afternoons
- on Saturdays, the service is extended into the evening to serve the 7.15 p.m. flight to Palermo
Evening and night services from 1 April 2026
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays, additional services run in connection with flights to and from Palermo.

These services run between Barriera Bixio and the airport, calling at all intermediate stops.

The service allows passengers departing from Parma to reach the airport in the evening and at night. Passengers arriving in Parma can use it to reach the city centre or connect with the urban night bus network.
For evening flights arriving after 8.00 p.m., if the flight is delayed the bus will wait for passengers, within the operating hours of the night service: until midnight from Sunday to Thursday, and until 1.30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Standard TEP tickets and passes are valid on all airport services.

Where to buy tickets
You can buy tickets:
- at Giuseppe Verdi Airport in Parma, from the ticket desk next to the check-in area
- at TEP ticket offices
- from authorised tobacconists
- through the TESEO app, paying by credit card. The app also allows you to buy more than one ticket for different passengers
- on board the bus using a contactless payment card. Simply tap your card on the electronic validator to buy an urban ticket. For extra-urban journeys, select the required fare or destination first. Please note that each payment card can be used to buy one ticket only.
